In the 2008 season, Motiva Performance Engineering teamed up with Hellion Racing to field a top-notch Super Street Outlaw car in the NMRA series. This car, a turbocharged 1993 Mustang Coupe, ran deep into the 7's under the tuning knowledge and experience that MPE Racing has become known for. Performances such as an impressive win against the number 1 qualifier in Joliet, Illinois have given this team and MPE Racing a reputation as one of the best in the country.
Couple this with performances such as that of Santa Fe's Chris Bussell, who ran an astonishing 8.65 @ 168 mph in his MPE Racing tuned, 88mm turbocharged Mustang street car, and it's easy to see why MPE Racing is the only place to take your street car, or Full-On race vehicle.
